Sylva Pintarová completed her Physiotherapy Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague in 2012 and 2014, respectively. She then went on to complete a two-month internship in Finland at University of Applied Science, Savonlinna, in 2015. 

Since 2014, under the supervision of Professor Pavel Kolar, Sylva has worked as a physiotherapist within the outpatient and inpatient departments in the Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and University Hospital Motol. She has also taught physiotherapy to medical students at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University. 

Sylva has many years of clinical experience treating musculoskeletal, neurologic, and orthopedic patients, and has even spent some time working in the Spinal Cord Unit.  She treats adults and older children with a variety of diagnoses, utilizing skills and knowledge gained from the many professional courses she has attended, including:

•Coordinative Kinesiotherapy in Weightlifting and Strengthening and Stretching, Zdeněk Čech 

•Functional Female Sterility and Treatment of Pelvic Floor, Ludmila Mojžíšová 

In 2017, Sylva became a Certified Practitioner of Kolar´s Approach to Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and in 2018 was certified as a DNS Assistant Instructor. Additionally, in 2018, she began a 4-year training program of Feldenkrais method with accreditation Euro TAB.

In her personal rehabilitation practice, Sylva specializes in the treatment of adult patients with neurologic and functional problems, as well as patients with gait impairment.  Furthermore, due to the nature of her approach, she uses devices such as dynamic plantography and neuromuscular stimulators of the lower extremities for evaluating and improving the quality of her patients gait patterns.
